These terms and conditions apply to purchases made via our website. Over the counter transactions made at our retail outlet have different terms and conditions, please check these in store. Prices advertised on this website may differ from those in our retail outlet.

Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within the UK only. We aim to dispatch your order the next working day following receipt. Your order should reach you within approximately 5 working days following dispatch.

Delivery charges are charged in addition to the price of the goods ordered and are calculated by our website.

Returns Policy and Cancelling Your Order

We hope that you will completely satisfied with your purchase, however there may be some instances when you feel that it is necessary to return an item to us. We aim to keep this process as simple for you as possible and these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
We will attend to all returns as soon as practically possible.
Please note that returns of products are not able to be accepted in person at our retail outlet.
Unwanted Products and Orders Cancelled After Dispatch
If you are unhappy with or have decided not to keep any product you have purchased, or have cancelled your order after it has been dispatched, you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery to you, with the dispatch note and receipt, having taken reasonable care of it and in an unused state complete with undamaged packaging and all accessories, all sealed items must have their seals intact and we will refund the price you paid for the product returned (excluding Delivery Charges).
We will make the refund once we have inspected the returned product and are satisfied that it has been returned to us in the condition that it was delivered to you.
You will have to pay for the return postage of the product returned.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty Products
In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, or has been incorrectly supplied to your order, we will replace it free of charge or provide a full refund as appropriate. In theses circumstances we will also pay the cost of the return postage. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate and a receipt to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to report damaged or faulty goods. This does not affect your statutory rights
Orders Cancelled Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel your order, please email us immediately at albertsweb(at)btconnect.com . Provided that the products have not already been dispatched, we will refund the price you paid for the products and the delivery charges.

Returning Unwanted or Faulty/Damaged Products and Orders Cancelled After Dispatch
Please contact us at albertsweb(at)btconnect(dot)com or telephone 020 8892 7634 between the hours of 10:00am to 5:00pm (not available on Sundays) to let us know you wish to return products.
We will issue you with a Returns Authorisation Reference Number, which should be marked clearly on the outside of all packages and also enclosed with the products you wish to return.
Please use a secure delivery method, which requires a signature upon receipt.

You will be responsible for the returned products until they reach us.
We will not accept returned products without a valid Returns Authorisation Reference Number.

Privacy Policy

We will treat all personal information you supply to us as confidential.
We will not sell or pass on any personal information to any other Companies or Organisations, with the exception of passing your name, address and or requested delivery address on to the Company or Organisation that will deliver your order.
All order details and invoices will be sent to the credit or debit card billing and not the
delivery address if the named recipient of your order differs.

On placing an order you will be transferred to the Sage Pay secure server to enter your credit or debit card details via their Secure Payment Interface. Your transaction is then verified and authorised and you will be sent an email confirmation of your order.

Acceptance Of Orders

We will send you an email confirming receipt of your order. Your order represents an offer to Albert’s Music Shop Ltd to purchase a product or products, and our acceptance of your order, and completion of the contract between you and us will only take place upon the dispatch of the products you have ordered. The sales contract between us and yourself is completed in England. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of your order. Refusal to accept your order may be as a result of one of the following:

The product(s) ordered being unavailable from our stock
Our inability to obtain authorisation for payment.
The identification of a pricing or product description error.

Should there be any problems with your order we will contact you by email.

We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase products by you at any time.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

All prices on our website include VAT at 20%, with the exception of printed music books, which are zero-rated.

Disputes

In the unlikely event of any dispute between yourself and us, the law of England will apply to all such disputes.

Guarantees

The products sold via this website are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery to you. With the exception of the following:

Any string(s) either sold separately, in sets or on instruments
Reeds either sold separately, in sealed boxes or on instruments
Mishandling, tampering or accidental damage to any product
Batteries either sold separately or supplied with a product

Should you need to return any product for service covered by the guarantee please contact us to obtain a Guarantee Returns Authorisation Number before returning any product to us. We will pay the return postage charges provided that the product was delivered to you not more than 30 days before you contact us to obtain a Guarantee Returns Authorisation Number, please obtain a receipt and proof of posting for us to be able to refund your postage charges. If you contact us or the product develops a fault after 30 days you will be responsible for the return carriage charges to us. You are responsible for all products until they are delivered to us.

Suitability of Products for Children and Infants

All products sold on this website are not suitable for persons under the age of 3. We also reccomend adult supervision when using all products sold on this website.
